Foreman’s Report 1/13/26

Work completed in the last two weeks

• Highway work completed
  • Last few rain storms have resulted in roads icing over repeatedly, we sand conservatively but are still going through a lot of material with these smaller storms.
  • Cut up many trees that have blown into the roadway during and after storms, still have a few that need to be cleaned up from road shoulder
• Salt/Sand
  • Salt is getting delayed but so far they are keeping up with what we have ordered
  • Ordered 500yds of sand from Derrig
• Maintenance
  • T3 plow shoes and wing cutting edge swapped over
  • Grader injector work is done, estimate for transmission oil fix is roughly $9,000, but having them look into a few other areas as well as look back at the oil samples over the last couple years
  • T1 blew a brake can, replaced in house same day
  • T3 hydro lines on side dump loosened, tightened and checked other lines
  • All 3 dump trucks are cleaned/greased regularly in between storms

Plan for the next two weeks

T2 is getting hood mirrors on 1/14, date was pushed back for weather

Hopefully get grader back to the shop and prep it for snow(chains and wing tower)

Chain work on T1, also delayed due to weather
