Foreman’s Report 6-23-26

Work completed in the last two weeks

  • Highway work completed
    • Trucked cerpak to South Wardsboro
    • Grading and rolling roads
      • Newell
      • Smead
      • S. Wards
      • T. Dam
    • Brush mulching on potter rd continued
  • Salt/Sand
    • Sand has been awarded and they are starting to bring it in
  • Maintenance
    • All summer tires swapped over in house
    • Winter tires ordered
    • T1 sprayer switch wire fixed
  • Dump
    • Fridges were evacuated, will get them moved into dumpster
  • Other
    • GMP project in Podunk area update
      • Trenching will be completed this week
      • Culverts expected to be completed by next week
      • Crews are working on ensuring good compaction, leveling off culverts, installing adequate head walls and have begun top coating with material

Plan for the next two weeks

  • Grade and roll roads then spray with chloride, try to get a good system down to keep smooth roads for longer without breaking up and scouring or getting wash boards
  • Truck more cerpak to areas that are heavily stone
  • Continue mulching on Potter rd
  • Clean up dump for the 4th of July
