Work Completed
- GMP contractors are continuing road work. Graveling on Podunk and Potter remains on the schedule, and contractors are also replacing culverts that were improperly installed on the south side of town.
- Jason Evans completed paving at the cross sections where culverts were replaced as scheduled last year.
- Road grading has continued. A portable pump was purchased to dilute chloride with water by half and to allow crew to spray water only on roadways during dry grading conditions.
- Brush mulching has continued on Townshend Dam Road.
Equipment & Administrative Notes
- The excavator was serviced, and the overload sensor on the boom was replaced.
- The brush hog has been ordered and is expected to be ready within the next couple of weeks.
- The brakes on T3 were adjusted. One brake can was found to be leaking air; the replacement part has been ordered and will be installed once received.
- The rear plug on T1 was rewired for the tank after it became pinched and shorted out.
Plan for the Next Two Weeks
- Begin work on upsizing culverts on Melis Road and adding gravel to the hill.
- Continue grading roads.
- Inspect roads and culvert inlets ahead of the upcoming storms.
