Foreman’s Report 7/8/25

Work completed in the last two weeks

  • Highway work completed
    • Finished installing culverts on Bills rd
    • Installed cross culvert on Blackpiece rd to help prevent erosion by the second house during heavy rain
    • Touched up rough areas with grader
    • Weedwack areas in town for preparation for the 4th of July
    • Hay and seeded areas that were disturbed by ditch work
  • Maintenance
    • T3 brakes and rear axle seal worked on at ATG
    • T1 brakes adjusted
    • Excavator full service, all fluids checked good, recommended to swap hydro oil at next service interval
  • Other
    • Picked up donor truck at firehouse and put in metal dumpster
    • Brought equipment back to shop for service work during week of the 4th
    • Work on GMP ROW draft
    • Roadside mowing starting in the next 2 weeks

Plan for the next two weeks

  • Continue tree work on Gilfeather
  • Map out areas for grants in aid work this year
  • Start work on culvert inventory
  • Continue draft for GMP work
