NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned Selectboard of the Town of Wardsboro, Vermont, pursuant to §§ 708 through 712 of Title 19, Vermont Statutes Annotated, as amended, hereby make petition to discontinue the following public highway:

Being Town Highway No. 35 in its entirety, being located approximately .97 miles from the northerly end and .49 miles from the southerly end of Smead Road, as referenced in a warranty deed from William A. Hescock to Robert W. Walters and Gloria P. Walters, in book 25, page 426 of the Wardsboro Land Records.

A map of the above road may be reviewed at the Wardsboro Town Clerk’s office.

THEREFORE, pursuant to Title 19, Vermont Statutes Annotated, as amended, described above, you are hereby notified that a site visit will be held May 6^th, 2025 at 4:30 P.M. for the purpose of examining the premises affected hereby and that a public hearing will be held May 6^th, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Clerk’s office in Wardsboro, Vermont for the purpose of hearing all persons interested in the road proposed to be discontinued.
