WARDSBORO BOARD OF CIVIL AUTHORITY & WARDSBORO BOARD OF ABATEMENT NOTICE & AGENDA

 Pursuant to the provisions of 32 VSA §4404(b), notice is hereby given that the Town of Wardsboro Board of Civil Authority will meet on Tuesday Evening, July 29^th at 7:00 PM at the Wardsboro Town Office to organize the board, to adopt rules of procedure for tax assessment appeals, and hear appeals of persons aggrieved by the action of the Board of Listers.

Hearings are open to the public but there is no public participation allowed in tax appeal hearings.

Following the Tax Appeal Hearing, pursuant to the provisions of 17 VSA §2150, the BCA will conduct a biennial purge of the voter checklist.

In accordance with 24 VSA §§1534, 1535 & 801, notice is hereby given that the Board of Abatement within and for the Town of Wardsboro is called to meet following the BCA meeting on Tuesday, the 29th day of July 2025 at the Wardsboro Town Office to hear a request for abatement of taxes due to a listers’ error.
